Recently I was scouring the internet to try and find access points to waterways in the state of Vermont. As it turns out, one of my friends works for the State and shared this fantastic Vermont Fish and Wildlife link with me. It highlights all access points throughout Vermont. This is an incredible resource for anyone looking to gain access to the water - we’ll definitely be referencing it when programing this summer!
Summer is coming to a close and we are slowing winding down. We had a blast out on the water and met a ton of fantastic people! We exceeded our goal of serving 5 people this year by a good margin. We caught a ton of fish and put smiles on a lot of faces. We have one more trip in the beginning of October. For now fundraising season begins and we are kicking things off this weekend down in Poughkeepsie, NY. We will be at the Orvis Fish and Game Fair Saturday and Sunday. If you are in the area please stop by.
This winter we will not only be fundraising but also modifying our boat further. We will be constructing adaptive equipment that will allow for easier access on and off as well make the front of the boat fully accessible.
A huge shout out is also in order to all of our donors! You made this season happen and hopefully we can continue this fantastic venture for years to come. I would also like to thank Tyler Laroche for all of his fantastic work this summer. If you are looking for a bright young man with an incredible knack for working with people, he is the right guy for the job.
Summer is off to a great start - we recently purchased a 16' Bass Tracker and we couldn't be happier! We took it out on Lake Champlain this weekend and everything ran smoothly. We are currently holding a raffle to raise money for our adaptive equipment fund, and the winner will have the honor of naming our new vessel!
In other news, we recently became a chapter of Disabled Sports USA. We look forward to partnering with them!

The spring is upon us and that means it's time to get out on the water! This winter we have been hard at work securing funding from generous donors and organizations. As of right now we are close to achieving our first big goal of purchasing a boat. Today we would like to thank the fine people at the Hoehl Family Foundation, Kayla's Directory and Essex Rotary for their contributions. We will continue to fundraise and begin to plan programing in the coming months. If you would like to contribute in anyway please reach out. As always I hope you find some Tasty Water.

Over the last few weeks we have been in a bit of a holding pattern, but the wait was worth while. As of last week Tasty Water Adventures became a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit. Thank you to all that have donated thus far and to those that are thinking about donating, heres a little extra incentive: all donations are now eligible to be written off on your taxes! Upon donating you will receive an email with all of the information you'll need to do so.
Today I am proud to announce that Tasty Water Adventures is a officially a Vermont Domestic Non-profit Corporation. We will now apply for tax exemption status with with the Internal Revenue Service. This will be the last step in becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, aka the real deal. Thank you again for your continued support. Stay tuned!
