Our Board of Beauties
Mike Abbott - Founder
Hailing from Burlington, Vermont, Mike is a science teacher, student, dog father, World traveler, diver, avid outdoorsmen and thrill seeker. He has traveled Vermont mapping out all the local honey holes. A love of fly fishing and assisting others are the driving forces behind his passion to deliver adaptive adventures to New Englander's.
A seventh generation Vermonter, Ryan knows the state of Vermont and all it's beauty like the back of his hand. While skiing in the Winter of 2017 he suffered a life altering spinal cord injury, leaving him paralyzed below the knees. Ryan knows first hand the limitations that exist for individuals with disabilities who seek outdoor adventure, and is dedicated to getting himself and others back on the water.
She is the nicest person on the planet! Her heart is actually made of gold. Suzanne is an experienced Special Educator and has been a rock for students at the schools she has worked in across Vermont. Full Potential Healing LLC is her baby, here she utilizes a variety of healing modalities to restore and empower individuals through the practice of energy medicine. She is a novice fisherwoman but we hope that will change with time. Her background, passion and love make her a fantastic asset to our board.
The man, the myth, the legend! Mike has been a guide for the past 12 years here in Vermont, where he has resided since 1992. In 1996 he picked up a fly rod and never looked back. He is now the owner of Green Mountain Troutfitters Guide Service and Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camps. He is also one of the founders of the Ditch Pickle Classic, a local fly fishing tournament on Lake Champlain. Mike's positivity and willingness to teach and help others is unmatched. He absolutely loves to fish but would rather assist others in finding success on the water.
He's the man of a million smiles. Nate is one of the most loyal and genuine individuals in the Green Mountain State. This guy can flat out fish too. He is a true outdoorsmen in every sense of the word. Although he can be a man of few words, you always know that when he does say something it is well thought through. Nate's friendly demeanor and positive attitude ensure that he will always have the best interest of our anglers at heart.
